Depends on the shop. Evil = self-serving. What if it's a shop I need? Then preserving it would be in my evil interests.
1) But they don't seem to be aware of what's going on. They're complete marionettes to the "Absolute". They're stupid pawns, not very useful.
2) OK, point, but point 1 kinda negates that. They're fanatics who don't know why they're doing what they're doing and will easily kill you if you question them (see goblin shaman lady who betrays you the second you tell her about the tadpole).
3) No, because the goblins obviously have no way of curing you. At this point Halsin seems like the best choice.
4) OK, good point. But I'm already simping for Shadowheart and will wife her.
Uhh, no? She's a Drow, which according to lore videos I've looked up, are biologically incapable of viewing anyone else as an equal to themselves. Like, their neurology is hard coded into making them sociopathic.
Even if they are not full on evil, every drow will inherently perceive themselves as being the most important person in the room.
Also, she tried to betray us after we slept together, which kind of ruins any bonds of trust we might have established. You don't exactly get over somebody trying to kill you right after performing the most intimate act possible together.
Im thinking this might possibly be changed in full game, there is no way they can leave a possible companion with purely bad choices from most perspectives if you want to recruit her.
It seems stupid.
Why not? BG 1 and 2 both had evil companions which would get pissed at you if you did too many good deeds.
If you want to travel around with the bad guys, you need to learn to cope with the fact that they are the bad guys. Not everybody in the world is willing to change for the better, and when it comes to Drow in particular, the amount who are willing to change is minuscule at best.
Look at Minthara's eyes. RED, meaning that before The Absolute got to her, she was a Lolth-Sworn.
Seldarine Drow don't get the red eye option.
