She hasn't publicly said who they were,, & I'm too shy to email her about it lol.
If you're out there Pan Darius Kairos,, could you send a message for me?? Aren't you the biggest Shadowheart fan,, so wouldn't you want to know who created your waifu? lol. Yeah I doubt you're even reading this,, since you have me blocked. 😹😿
Well this is a mystery I'm likely not to solve everyone,, but again if anyone has confirmation about who writes who in Baldur's Gate 3. Then please share that information with innocent little WosM.
More like the next "War Maiden,," since she seems like the Maquina type. 😅
But back on point, OP just seems to have personal agendas against Larian for various things and I don't know why he feels the need to continue to spam the forum with different things over and over again, pretty sure they were banned at least once at one point. I'd say just ignore it and save yourself the headache.
I chalk it up to him being drunk all the time, for the benefit of the doubt.
You said their writing so far doesn't deserve any awards,, but your comment sure does!
A steam award for being the only one who will likely answer my topic,, instead of just coming here to hurt me. 🤜🤕

Btw Vixzian,, my response to you above was just me messing around! I thought you might verify that it was false,, & call me out on it? In truth she's nothing like War Maiden from what I've seen,, & just trying to start a conversation with you.
I should have just asked your thoughts on the topic,, or the writers themselves?? But maybe that wouldn't have worked either,, cause this topic doesn't interest you whatsoever.
You seriously just came here to remind me of GQ,, when I've been trying to move on.
Their names are Martin Docherty & Chrystal Ding? There was also a few other faces that I mentioned before, so for those interested to know about the writers...then click here.

Honorable mention : Charlene Putney.
She spent eighteen months on creating the world of BG3.
'Wrote the core story,, characters,, situations & quests from the very beginning of the project.'
Gale who is written by Jan Van Dosselaer.
Astarion who is written by Stephen Rooney.
I couldn't help, but kill the other companions because they were completely insufferable.
Karlach almost made the cut, but the swearing was a deal breaker. Much the same with the Cleric.
Kargah was a bit more tolerable after her redemption, but I don't believe you can have her as a companion at that point.
What? is this why the characters and story seem all disjointed? They have different people writing for different characters?
This is very common and necessary. Do you think it's possible to get a game out in a timely matter with several books worth of dialog using only 1 writer?
I've only just played the intro again recently (played all available content on release) up until the falling on the sand thing, but it does seem much improved, particularly Shadowheart who early indications has mellowed into a much more complex character I already feel a kinship with (any maybe a slight horn for, lol) after only an hour or so of play time. I hope they continue making her relationship with Laezel much more multilayered as though the 'you're a gith so I hate you and vice-versa' stuff was ok to start with, it's a bit one-note. I remember when I first played the BG series I loved it for the characters, even if now I look back they don't seem as great (except Minsc obvs). I'm hoping that Larian can keep moving forward and make this the first game I've played that's really on the level that it could be a great movie.
For the full tolkien triglogy+hobbit it's 576K.
So I would say you seem right, it's not that many books but still, each Tolkien book, is rather big.
But if you think of vocal acting then it's dementia compared to movies but I dont have numbers (time cumulated of vocal acting in games).
I don't think any good novels was done by multiple hands, but also I have doubts game writers team can only focus on writing, they probably lost a lot of time in global coherency management. But for sure it's clearly one reason among many why game writing can't be compared directly to pure novel writing.
Its my story, when you play alone you are the character and the DM!
