Friend wants to join with debug mode on

How do I allow him access? I try to admin him but it won't work.

- to make him an admin, does it not work?

On his end, it says something along the lines of non admins cant join with debug mode activated.

Well yeah, since he needs to be an admin, did you allow him access with the command?

yes, i tried to setaccesslevel his username and admin, but it still doesnt let him join

Try /grantadmin "username" instead?
If that doesnt work either go to your Admin menu > Database > Set his Accesslevel to "admin"

I do not have a database as it is on a hosted server.

You can check the database from inside the game with your administrator account, in the "admin" button

My friend is hosting a server, they went to the database and already gave me admin access, however when i try to start with the -debug launch option its still giving me error saying Debug connection is not allowed for non-admin,

Hey folks - Not sure if it will work for everyone else but the way I fixed this was by right clicking PZ in my library, going to properties, and on the first screen I have "Selected launch options" with -debug listed .. I took that out, reloaded the game and problem solved!
