B41 - bulk wood mod

Is there a mod that allows wood logs and planks to be bulked? Like the log piles at McCoy that have accessible inventory.

It's ugly having stacks of 4 logs laying around. It's not efficient either.

I want it to be vanilla, to be fair.

Simple frame constructions like log piles/plank piles/firewood piles made from several planks, nails or rags, with huge capacity but only accepting logs/planks/firewood, and changing appearance based on the amount of stuff they contain (like shelves). Both useful and beautiful.

It would also improve the feel of McCoy and other wood production places, since the current implementation doesn’t make much sense. We have piles of logs that contain zero logs.

Something like this mod which adds tire racks which accepts tires, but for wood.

Exactly. Ability to mass-store bulky material without putting it on the ground all the time would be a godsend. It's annoying that we can't prepare enough firewood for the winter, like people do in every single place that has winter and uses firewood for heating.

We need to be able to use pallets like irl.

Even if they have random quality (pallets are wildly ♥♥♥♥ or wildly strong lol) it would make bulk storage something we could do with one item changed, its already in the game. Even if it was only for wood, cloth, leather, whatever, it would still be a huge benefit.

That would be kinda neat. It could be like a non-stackable (for game balance) "container" that holds 150 weight or something like that.
