How to level construction skill ?

Furniture destruction does not give exp anymore. Do i need to build a lot of fences to lvl up this skill ?

You can gain exp easily from the new crafting system. Nail some wooden branches and you'll be levelling in no time, alongside getting pretty good weapons.

Collect planks you find (unless you found an axe already) and barricade your house, you can get 8 planks on each window, this will level up your carpentry. Also if you find a survivor house or zone story house (all boarded up) you can just unbarricade it all and you'll get carpentry exp. Usually fully barricading a house will get you at least 1.5 Carp levels, easily 2+ if you have read a few pages of the Carp 1 skill book.

There is no longer a need to get to level 6 or higher carpentry as stairs can be made (as with most things) at LVL 3. Having maintenance is as important now as carpentry as you need lvl 1 to craft almost anything. Also XP from TV is capped at lvl 3 I believe.
