I don't mind the quick drain on stamina. I'm extremely annoyed by the rate of which it regenerates. I shouldn't have to sit around for 100 real seconds just to play the game for another 300.

I just wish there was an option to adjust it back to B41 levels. some of my funnest moments in this game came from taking on giant hordes with a crowbar. And with a high fitness build you could EASILY down 20-30 before needing a break.

Its based off your weapon skill, which is bizzare to me.

You can speed up the time by 2, 3 or 40 times. After high exertion/muscle fatigue you can simply sit on a chair for 2-3 seconds by using the speed setting.

Yet another issue that becomes a mountain from a mole hill due to players not utilising options available to them.

If the base settings aren't right for how you want to play then just change the rates of stat drop and/or recovery in sandbox to make a game that suits how you enjoy playing.

This is a band-aid for game balance.

Both of you Miss the forest for the trees.

Current implementation of muscle fatigue is just atrocious. You basically kill 3 zombies and then you must rest for an hour to get rid of it. Rinse and repeat every 3 zombies.

It slows down the pace, makes athletic and fit crap (muscle fatigue rises far faster than the exhaustion) and makes every weapon skill basically mandatory if you want to use melee

Use the foot, Luke. I'm not exactly happy about muscle fatigue either, but there's things you can do to make it less of an issue. I see potential in it, especially if they gave you XP for overexerting yourself in combat and waiting for it to clear up, but if it's just zombie clearing you want - stomp.

Honestly everything about the game feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ free mobile game now. The ugly moodles, the hideous ai art (that was thankfully removed), and the fact that you have to stop every 7 seconds and wait a long time to regenerate, might as well add a feature where you can watch an ad when your stamina depletes to instantly refill it.

Don't you people get tired of being angry all the time?

Are you guys swinging sledgehammers or something? You can easily fight a dozen zombies with some wrenches, at level 0 short blunt, without muscle strain really doing much to you. Then you just sit down and read a book for a bit and you're good to go again. I have to be missing something, or you guys are going rambo...
Actionjackson Dec 20, 2024 @ 3:26am
Not sure what people are talking about here, the strain is no issue, like at all. Ive been playing the game like version 41 and there is no big difference. I notice the strain once in a while, but so what, its not a big deal.

THIS!

I'm sure at this point that people who complain about muscle strain just have OCD and don't want to see a negative moodle on their screen or some crap like that.

Haven't been having a problem with muscle fatigue, I will tell you how I am dealing with it.

Using a shovel, screwdriver, and hammer/wrench. Switch between them based on threats. Shovel for groups, screwdriver for solos, hammer for pairs.

Fit/stout burglar, that should be 7/7 or so. :8BitThief:

When I went barbell, the strain and fatigue hit hard and quickly, which makes sense.

A noob that swings like a mad man will get tired sooner, a pro knows where and when to strike with the required force.

Knowing how to use your weapon is actually a real life thing. How "bizzare" is that? :BL3Facepalm:
