Which would be great, because:
-You can't fight the hordes
-You can't shoot the hordes
-You can't kite the hordes (like you used to)
-And now you can't even molotov the hordes
It's like Dwarf Fortress' brother that had a sledgehammer dropped on their head as a child.
That being said I like the concept of having muscle strain from fighting too many zombies but the juxtaposition of B41 > B42 is too great. I'm currently tweaking the muscle strain setting to find a good sweet spot where it's not too low but not at its 1.0 value.
I'm at 0.2 right now to start but I'll test out in increments of 0.1 to find the sweet spot where it makes sense based on what I know about anatomy.
On a side note unfortunately dragging corpses is just terrible and I don't think that can be adjusted, you might as well drop all your gear and get naked cause the amount of endurance loss from dragging a single corpse 10 feet is equivalent to an entire day working as a mover IRL who is unassisted by tools.
It’s a sandbox zombie survival. So many cool things to add and various ways to improve immersion.
Yeah I just cleared the military checkpoint using the campfire trick but I had to do it THREE freaking times to get them all.
Even after all that I still have some stragglers.
Really silly of the Indie Stone just to disable molotovs entirely like that, and still having burning down hordes be this easy.
Lemmy mentioned the Molotov in his last lengthy reddit post about guns. He specifically said the molly and throwables will benefit from the new aiming mechanic. I'm guessing both items use a similar name and they got mixed up in the code.
If that's what he said then he either doesn't know, or someone on the team lied to him.
You can check for yourself and see that the recipes for crafting molotovs have simply been commented out in the scripts. This was obviously on purpose, because stuff like this doesn't happen on accident.
Incorrect, you're talking about the Fire Bomb.
Molotov cocktail crafting recipes have been commented out. What that means in scripting is that TIS has placed /* before and */ after the molotov recipes.
