What are you trying to bandage it with?

if you have the hemophobia trait you're probably panicking. other than I've no idea. certain injuries require rags or bandages. Not adhesive ones. Deep wounds need suturing.

What shows up when you right click on the wound? Does it give you any options at all?

You probably have something in your wound - you need to remove the bullet or glass in it.
Or you have a deep wound or fracture; you need to stich the dep wound, or use a splint for the fracture.

Are you playing with any mods at all? If not Oragepoilu could be right, although I seem to remember being able to bandage wounded feet with glass still in it. Hmm, no wait maybe that was with the glass removed but not stitched... If you are playing with mods and have confirmed there's nothing in the wound then might be a broken mod.

Sounds like you need stitches. Try to think realistically, despite the low scale graphics.

You should still be able to bandage unstitched wounds though. The bandage will get dirty super fast, and healing will be very slow however. Probably glass or something in the wound that needs to be removed like Orage said. I'm not sure how glass would even get in a head wound... Car crash maybe? Glass in hands is from going through a window and glass in feet is from walking on it. Hmm.

If it's on a lower part of the body you gotta stop moving or you can't bandage

you actually can bandage over glass shards

You actually can just bandage deep wounds and they will heal. It takes forever, but it works. I did it recently in a CDDA game.

I did it once in an MP game just to see if it would heal

It does take FOREVER but no stitches are needed for it to heal; it just MASSIVELY speeds it up

Stupid question maybe, but are you sure you have bandages on you? I put my bag down once, forgot about it, got injured, then experienced this exact thing. Right clicking on the wound did nothing.

Nameless isn't bothering to respond it seems so issue may have resolved itself, one way or another.
