Why not get cats eyes and completely change your game? Instead of looting during the day, when zombies can see you more easily, go during the night when their vision is slightly reduced, and sleep during the day. :)
This is my usual starting time to head out therefore.
Because you still can't see ♥♥♥♥ at night and the chances of something sneaking up on you increase by 1000%. Cat's eyes are not night vision :P
With pitch black night settings, it is quite often the feel where the chair/bed is click.
Even with cats eyes.
However with pitck black night, with cats nights, you at least have a chance on roads, to notice zeds...and on certain occasions to fight.:)
That is just the setting for what time of day it will be when a character spawns on the map for the first time.
Sadly yes.
Altering it has no effect on anything else. You will still only get the warning message about the incoming chopper at 9 am. As the earliest.
