Local Splitscreen....?
can you actually play this local splitscreen like the game says, and if so would you be able to use 2 controllers? or 1 controller 1 keyboard and mouse?

Yes to all of that. Though player 1 is always keyboard/mouse or a controller. Meaning you cannot have player 1 be on controller and player 2 on mouse/keyboard.

Thats the only part that sucks, i have a big desk and still not big enough for 2 people haha, but we still had a solid experience until major FPS drops were happening, i dont think this game is actually meant for coop, I got a rtx 3080, 32gb 3600mz on ryzen 7 3800x and was hitting 30 fps and lower at some points on splitscreen

FPS drops depend on many many factors, such as mods used, the resolution you have and the age of the save you are playing on.

Brand new save, maybe 5 mods that affect vehicles and 1440p, i usually get 100-120fps but split screen about 30

Unusual, did you try playing without any mods to see if the FPS improves by a lot?

No tbh i doubt a couple car skin mods are going to severely affect the fps

I would recommend testing that in that case.

Just tested it, no difference

I would likely recommend lowering your Zoom limits in that case in the game options, as higher zoom would be the main cause of lower FPS, especially so if you have two screens now rendering at max resolution zoom due to split screen
You may also lower your resolution to get a similar benefit.

Yeah thats kind of the main focus point of the game is being able to see around you. It's all good though, I wont be attempting split screen anymore its just a sub-par experience over solo, I only tried it cause I have a huge monitor.
