Both should have different builds during character creation, and the current traits make a group balanced. Default characters should be the same until edited.

I'd rather have toilet and hygiene needs, though. That is when I'd support for example a need for tampons for females (or whatever) and shaving equipment for males. Just an example. Maybe not making it mandatory, but providing a happiness boost.
Could also be combined with traits that let both genders not caring about each and being fine with it.
But again, this doesn't sound like something that would be hard for being made as a mod.
