I had a zombie bite me while walking on a table the was placed next to a window after jumping through the window
The game doesn't do a tip top job of demonstrating how zombies do things with the animations, I.E you can be grabbed and bitten on the neck but actually you've been bitten on the leg etc.
So while you see a crawling zombie do a limp wristed palm slap at you, imagine instead it's grabbing you with all its strength and yanking your trouser leg or ankle, I guess.
Suspension of disbelief or something, I dunno. It's needed for games like this.
Hey I did it on a fence earlier though and I had the Garden Hoe as a weapon and I sworn than it was one shotting zombies that were on the ground consistently. I repaired it 6 times. I like those light long range blunts. The metal rakes aswell.
I been running a strat where I just wear the one piece neglige or a one piece dress using fear of blood and the rakes and garden hoes along with explosive craft. Makes for a pretty easy time. And you only gotta wash 3 things shoes dress and body. You’ve got better range than a spear on that garden ho
Long range blunts. I believe it should be the pole arm. The pole arm weapon roster is pretty nice to hit zombies with albeit somewhat flimsy. A few rolls of duct tape can do some wonders on that garden Ho. A rake is probably not worth the effort as much.
Nah I don't get it
Realism; If it was "realistic" similar to our world we wouldn't even be able to carry half the items we can in-game and I doubt any off us would like the game very much if it was as realistic as in real life. Have to have balance in games and what fits the environment
Seems logical tradeoff to be knocked down by some snack hungry zombie with near the same weight and zombie push force bites per muffin. Unless fighting a hoarde, theyre not much of a threat once you get comfortable in combats.
In any case, we're dealing with zombies that can grasp your foot/legs. That's a whole body's worth of weight attempting to drag you down with no regard for its own well being.
Typical reaction would be to try and move your leg up and back away from it...which would disrupt your 85kg character's support to one leg. Unless you'd like to be stuck there for a good few seconds trying to get it off, which is deadly in its own right, I personally don't see it as a major logic flaw.
If you're talking about lack of realism, remember that in this game a character with backpack can vault over tall walls, jump over fences, climb ropes. It is also possible to pick up a fridge or a tv, sit in a car while holding it, and drive the car. With a TV in your lap. Then there are magic bags that weigh less if you carry them in your hands.
