Seat is occupied on all car seats
Right, so I have an odd "feature" that I am trying to get around. I found a nice fourdoor sedan, with a broken lock on the drivers seat door. I filled up the two rear seats and the trunk with stuff. I then (in error) managed to press E standing at the back right door. The dude started shifting items and i stopped him. Now the game says "Seat occupied" to all 3 working doors, and doesn't shuffle items. And it says "Lock ruined(Or something, i dont remember the exact wording" on the drivers door.

How do i fix this? The car is filled to the brim with an entire police station and book store. How do i get to the items? Can i somehow access the items without being in the car? Breaking a window did not work. Or how do i make my idiot survivor clear a seat so he can sit?

Try removing the door of the unoccupied seat where the lock is broken.

you can press f and open the door from the outside to access items on the seat

Ooooh, I see. I was unaware of the mighty F key. If that doesn't work, I guess i can always level up my mechanics and get a replacement door as well as my loot :D

F does nothing for me even when facing a door with items on the seat?
