Hunter Hunter Hunter
so i started getting back into crucible and everyone was playing hunter. meanwhile i was the only one not playing hunter. I'm a hardcore titan main. for some reason that is obviously not clear to me, why does everyone play hunter? i just got back into D2 PVP and my titan isn't the most powerful but he does have 100 resilience and 100 discipline. i use crimson and ace of spades and pretty depends what hand cannon I'm feeling. the reason why I'm asking this question because i just spent the last 16 hours of my life absolutely deleting hunters in crucible. i decided to hop into gambit and i only saw hunters. whats the deal with hunters? from where I'm sitting their all really weak even with god rolled gear. I'm not even some try hard. So can someone explain whats so special about hunter?

Dodge, Jump, Mobility being useful, invisibility, golden gun, etc.

Randiant Dance Machines are REALLY good right now, allowing you to hipfire at around the same ranges as ADS, as well as team invis spam allowing you to abuse poor vision on certain maps.
Hunters are the best. I'm a die-hard Hunter main. I've been beating my veteran Warlock friend in 1v1 recently.

I'll stop you right there. "They seem really weak in crucible" no they don't. No class is. The resilience stat places every single class at the same effective TTK depending on which tier they are at. If the scaling is still what it was when I was playing religiously, then T7 Res is where 3 taps start turning in to 4 taps outside of weapons that are specifically built around being 3-tap HS ttk. This is the same for all 3, and all 3 have access to exotics and abilities that provide additional surviveability.

Hunters are simply popular, especially right now because a couple of their exotics are hard-meta meme builds. So you will see more of them, and because you'll see more of them, you'll kill more of them in crucible.

and if they had these so called meme builds then they cant be that powerful if a void titan walks all over them without dying.
I think if you were in a higher skill ceiling you would be complaining, so I'd count yourself lucky.

hunter has many abilities and items that make it easy for bottom tier players to do extremely well in all activities. titan and warlocks have much less of these, so if you manage to get a hunter in a competition of skill, rather than cheesy handholding garbage, you're probably going to stomp them

1) High Mobility = You walk faster, you strafe faster, you even crouch faster!
2) Jumps. No floating/gliding crap that makes you ez target.
3) Dodge on 17 second cooldown. If ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, you just dodge and hide around the corner. Pair it with Wormhusk Crown and it also heal you. If you Void Hunter, you also become invisible.
4) Invisibility. Super easy to catch people off guard and get an easy kill.

But if you like Titan, play Titan my dude!
hey didnt read i have 2 hunters.

I'll chance to say most of those are pvp oriented, and i bet they like darksouls too.

Your matches show you regularly being in the bottom half of the lobby while Hunters are consistently outperforming you. Your wins are even primarily because Hunters carried you.

Whats your favorite flavor crayon? Mines peach!:lunar2019piginablanket:
If you can't beat them, join them. You have three character slots, so use them. Create a Hunter and a Warlock. It's great during content droughts if you don't have the annual pass because you can focus on getting your alt characters up to speed.

I main Warlock but have been working on my Hunter this week after a long break for this very reason.
