i am! i use the prometheus lens and the ignition barely harms the surrounding enemies. when the scorch is applied, my team mates always end up killing the enemies before the scorch kills them. so, this is absolutely stupid for a bounty.

i hate gambit, it's such a bad piece of trash game mode because of the unnecessary hindrances implemented into it

Conditional Finality makes easy ignitions otherwise don't care about a single worthless bounty and don't play a game mode you don't like?

like, why not just make the bounties simple? it's trash enough that players have to repeatedly go to the tower to keep reclaiming bounties because, for some unknown reason, the devs didn't have a brain cell spare to think "hmm maybe we put an option on each npc players can turn on to rebuy bounties automatically without having to keep travelling to the tower" but then they also make the bounties impractical too

i've literally used prometheus lens (has incandescent)
i've used a grenade launcher (has incandescent)
i've tried using the sunshot pistol
i've tried using lord of wolves
i've tried using all various different weapons which do solar

i've literally got everything i can that does anything ignition in my warlock abilities to try and complete this bounty and nothing is working

What are you talking about? You go to npc, grab bounty, then you've got 27 hours to do it you don't have to "reclaim" anything.

You can also use the phone app to grab bounties while in orbit/tower/helm.

You have to get the kill with the ignition explosion. Also why not just do a different bounty and if you are tired of going to the tower why aren't you using the API apps that we all told you to use earlier today?

because I shouldn't have to log into a bunch of websites in order to play the game, it's a joke

i honestly wish i didn't bother buying any dlc's now because i'm just sick of irritating oversights in the game.

Also the solution of just ignore a single worthless bounty is also an option. Also Conditional Finality creates an ignition on any kill with the solar round and can clear the room.

You're being over dramatic about the sites, all you have to do is go to DIM's website and then allow it to use the Steam api through the Steam overlay, no dim account or log in required to have access to your vault and other character inventory literally anywhere in the game with the press of shift+tab. You can do the same in minutes with a simple Discord account and joining the d2lfg community discord to be able to have access to lfg anything at any time. And for bonus points you can leave DIM open the overlay and it will automatically reopen it every time you start the game so you don't have to manually go to the website later.

Also for picking up bounties its the official mobile companion app from Bungie which again logs in through Steam which should already be set up on your phone.

It can seem overwhelming to have "so many things" to play the game but just calm down and take the few minutes to set up a couple things and makes the game so much better.

a triple-A game development studio makes a game where you have to download an app on your phone just because they didn't wanna build the functions into the game. it's like buying a toothbrush and then being expected to download an app on your phone in order to get the toothbrush to work, it's literally stupid.

and i don't want to have to download discord or any messenger app just because Bungie simply REFUSES to let players matchmake for a bunch of dungeons which don't even need cooperation. they just need players to have learnt the phases, which doesn't even matter because as long as 1 person knows, the beginners will visually be able to learn from that player.

literally so many problems in this game to the point it's just getting on my nerves. i wish i never bought the stupid dlc's, and i wish i never started playing the game.

you can't even understand the story without going to youtube because the timeline LITERALLY DOESN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING except for the cutscene ones. they're just these simple descriptions which don't tell anything. "guardians found out about the drifter's past" - doesn't even tell you what his past was so it's literally just an irrelevant pointless segment in the timeline to read.

i also don't like how they're removing legendary shards. like, out of everything obvious that could be better, they're wasting time removing legendary shards as if legendary shards bothers anyone.

pvp is just an unbalanced mess, and you can't even enjoy a kill-streak because you'll just get 1-shot by a super at some point. so, even if you're doing good, it doesn't matter because everyone's got a press-to-win button.

smg's are literal garbage in this game too, they just run out of ammo (except the forerunner) and barely do any damage. there's literally no point using them except for when you're forced to because of a bounty.

there's just so many things which are bad in this game. it's just a disappointment. i'ma give it a negative review.

Don't have to download anything, you go to discord dot come through the steam overlay browser just like you go to destinyitemmanager dot com. Set them up once and you're set and can even have themleft open in the overlay to be ready any time you start Destiny 2.

yeah, i don't wanna have to use my phone because the triple-A devs are too lazy to build functions into the game.

i don't wanna have to use a website to find players to run dungeons. i don't wanna have to keep switching my hands to my phone to do something which should be built into the game. like, i don't wanna have to put my controller down, pick up my phone, tap some bounties, put my phone down, grab my controller, and repeat this over and over after every single mission/match because the devs didn't wanna build an automated feature into the npc's.

haven't even started any of the other dlc's besides shadowfall and i'm already sick of the game. it's not even the dlc's that's the problem, it's all this technical stuff, lack of much-needed functionality which just hasn't been built.

the game doesn't even have a test area to test out all the different guns you collect, it's that pathetic.
