Are 'Red Death Reformed' or 'No Hesitation' fun?
Because it feels odd when fireteam members abuse them out of fights and while in fight they don't cure anyone. Is this intended to be or is it because strangers will always going to be selfish in battle?

What are you talking about? Final blows heal you, reloading after final blows heals everyone. As for if its fun, its a basic pulse rifle so its not exciting but being an exotic and a weapon type that got a big buff it does work and being able to heal yourself is always great.
Still find it odd since the sound and effects played when someone carrying the weapon applies to me. Are mostly happening outside battles but when I'm in a fight....tada...no health boost* or anything.

What sound effect? Red Death doesn't have a "sound effect" its just a pulse rifle with no special effect.
I mean the sound and effect applied on screen. The auto rifle fire projectiles with unique sounds and there is a buff on whoever gets applied with those bullets. Or am I wrong?

That's not Red Death...

If people are busy shooting enemies during a fight they're not going to be healing you. It isn't solely a heal gun and it has some great pve combinations like subsistence and incandescent so chances are people are probably just using it as a new gun. Unless someone is specifically trying to be a healer I think its going to end up as a meme gun.

Red Death is a pulse rifle, not an auto. Are you perhaps thinking of No Hesitations, the new Support Frame auto?

Whoa! :steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm:
Why does it look like a auto rifle? Hmm....you might be right on this. So weird because I hear the sound of fireworks of somekind and the boost of healing gets on screen turning my borders brighter.

Full Medic 'No Hesitation' can be pretty fun.
Farm or craft for...
PHYSIC: Rapidly healing allies grants restoration to you and your allies.
-and
CIRCLE OF LIFE: Rapidly healing allies grants this weapon a period of increased damage.

Lets also not forget its archetype:

Support Frame
[...]Hip firing at allies while this weapon is charged heals them, with rapid healing increasing weapon damage and bestowing restoration to your allies.

Problem I find is that its hard to heal anyone when being really mobile is part of their play style.
-That and the UI doesn't track ally health unless you look right at them. Im more used to other MMOs outright telling you the party's condition all the time.

Technically Crimson is a tiny Red Death, because Red Death is a D1 Exotic.

Good, because medic classes belong in WOW not destiny.
You do know Healer is in almost every MMO right?

Its's more of a PVP gun imo. It's ok.

It's a good gun in solo PvE content if you want a quick fix to stay alive. Just shoot a few adds and you're back to full health instantly.
