and having a gun that is at the peak of damage in raids be this common in every single gambit game makes it feel like it's just the same meta build every single game. It's boring now.
Whenever a weapon is OP, topics like these get created.
Trust me.... I went through it before, with 1k voices, sleeper, etc all wiping enemy teams. :V
people will run still hunt with nighthawk because there's no other choice and its consistent (rarest thing in this game), fun and new.
hell, most people dont even want to play gambit but are forced to because of pathfinder. if you want to blame something, blame that.
there's a good chance youll see it less as the season progresses, especially if they nerf it, which they probably will because its fun.
the entire gamemode needs a complete remake, preferably going back to having roles, using the PVE sandbox, and increasing the number of ads + motes required to summon the boss, which should also be a bit more random and have different mechanics each time so it isn't just 'QUICK KILL THE WITCHES, QUICK EVERYBODY GOLDEN GUN'. games just go too fast, even more so now everybody is one shotting the primeval, but i blame it on the gamemode being outdated and bungie forcing people to play it when they wanna use all the new stuff rather than the new stuff itself.
A bit like mouth breathing, but with extra steps.
The worst part is having to listen to drifter talk...
