Peregrine Greaves Nerfed or Broken?

Ive been noticing that i cannot one shot anyone with peregrine greaves shoulder charge. Its supposed to be a one shot kill on all guardians includiong 10 resilience players and yet im not even killing people with 3 resilience in one shot. Is the exotic just broken or did bungie just nerf this into the ground?

I used to rely on ability melee long....long...so long time ago. I think before Beyond Light got released. And I used to rely on Mk.44 leg exotic or on Skullfort helm exotic to feast on melee attacks because they were too powerfull. Then the game suffered many rule changes in competitive mode that melee abilities feels odd till today.
Even with 101-105 of recovery and resilience I get knocked out with one melee punch even with I have 60% of shield up.
When I strike other oponents I need to punch twice or sometimes three times. Even on super I need to punch twice...is either the old issue with hitblock or ch...ch....''chussters'' or my connection in some matchs are not synchronized making difficult to register my points.

You are in the air when you're doing it right? You need to be in the air for at least half a second, just jumping and instantly doing it doesn't work.

One shot melee's got nerfed a very long time ago making mk44 and skullfort largely pointless in crucible.

To me it sounded like you didn't know why melee started taking you 2-3 hits when it took one before but since Beyond Light melee abilities started "feeling odd" so I explained why the exotics you listed don't "work" anymore.

Peregrines got changed to require you to be in the air for a short duration instead of instantly activating when you leave the ground

Yes i am airborne. And for longer than half a second too, every time it leaves them at a one shot but doesn't kill them. I've also noticed other damage values, like my my shotguns, aren't registering correctly either. I tested it with a friend in a private match and a point black body shot with a shotgun breaks their shield and takes half of their health when it should be a one shot. Precision shots also arent registering for my special ammo weapons. We tested a sniper and i shot him in the head with an overshield, no overshield, low health, and those little yellow numbers never showed up. I genuinely have no idea whats happening.

i think you don´t get yellow numbers if you hit someone with overshield. jump back in and compare damage from bodyshots with headshots. overshield for both tests.
