OP later explained they are a new player and don't have any advanced gear/subclasses, which makes more sense.
Advanced as in having a Strand grapple or shoulder charge/dash build, or the exotic boots that make jumping easier.
Jumping puzzles are 10 times as fun as ad clear for transition segments.
Look at the zero hour mission when you walk along the towers pillar, the ship ride in kings fall and the space walk in deep stone crypt.
The scale of the game would be somewhat lost without traversal sections.
