Plus, I already played it to death when it was out, so I don't need it. It would also just become dead content after a while and it would increase the file size further.
On top of that, Bungie would have to significantly update the content so it works with the current game. All of that would take away a lot of resources which are better spent else where (for example, new content). Bungie were correct in removing year 1 content.
If any new player wishes to catch up on the story, they can do so by watching the video in the timeline. There's really no point bring back and updating very old content just so certain players can experience it for a few minutes and then never touch it again.
This, also the story isn't even good.
Yes it's all about you, not the players who never experienced it, or had it taken away from them before playing it. YOU.
That would be very nice and I'm totally for that, but again, they would have to update all the old content (for example, quests attached to characters no longer with us) so it works with the current game and remove the content which is no longer relevant (for example, WANTED enemies).
Personally, I just don't think it's worth the time and costs it would take to do all that. I would rather have Bungie investing in new content and new worlds than bringing back old stuff just for people to play for a few minutes then never touch again.
Each to their own opinion, of course.
Hey now, there's a calus fight in the game. No chalice, but he's there. And it's ACTUAL Calus, not a FNaF animatronic.
I still remember the cries of "this game is dying" in year one. Odd how as soon as they remove something it becomes the best ever. It took me a long time to finish Red War, to me it was mostly a bore, just running about patrol zones shooting things and doing public events was better IMHO.
I am not saying I would be upset if it was all brought up to be compatible with the engine upgrades and put back. How much more broken would this game be if they tried? I think I would rather have new stuff and maybe the destinations back, I haven't gotten to go visit Greg in a long time now.
As to new players that have not played that stuff, who's fault is that? Who told them not to play the game then? It's a live service game, one of the catches is that content can change or be removed.
How dare they not play it back then? They should have dispensed with their families and responsibilities and played Destiny 2 while it was still intact. They should have guessed large chunks of it's stories would be vaulted. They should have understood that before purchasing the game and opening an account...(which disappeared if you weren't paying attention 24/7)
Please just stop with the drama. In year three (actually lasted over a year) all year one content was free to play, so that's over three years to play the content and over a year of it being free to play. It would help if you at least try to be honest.
You and I both know that's a lie, and nowhere in my responses was I remotely cheer leading, grow up.
