Redrix's Estoc meta

we got like 1000 guns in this game yet EVERY ONE IN PVP is using this ♥♥♥♥ ass weapon. For the love of traveler nerf that frame to the ground.

Pulses have always been meta, they will be nerfing lightweights damage a little bit and will be also nerfing sword logic by a little, but i don't think it will be significant, if one thing, i think bungie should had never made an BxR frame for the Kinetic slot in the first place, even worse, it's a comp weapon so only the pvp sweatlords will be getting those and going on control to dominate matches with casuals like me

When rose came back it was in every single match as well.

I guess I'm a PvP sweatlord then. I got Redrix's Estoc, but I no longer use it. It's mid, in my opinion.

Had an astronomically high usage rate last Trials, to the point of being used 15% more than the weapon below it, but go off

They have a .6 K/D I dont think the weapon is the issue here

If you missed the decent fixed roll for it because of the bug that gave Rose instead, the fix is coming with the launch of Heresy Act 2, as are some changes to how powerful it is, search the page for redrix - https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/twid_03_06_2025

While this is true, and I live by it, it's also disingenuous to act like there aren't sometimes weapons that are just statistically better than alternatives. Preference goes a long way, but the sandbox is a game of 'rock, paper, scissors' - Redrix's Estoc, in that analogy, makes the sandbox into 'rock, paper, scissors, gun'.
