Is the game worth playing again?

I stopped playing back in early June because the game was just not fun anymore.

I stopped playing in September for the same reason. Logged in today, for a look around. I see lost of flash but very little substance. Same sh*t in the same pile. SIGH. Moving on.

The "fun level" has significantly dropped since TFS released, and shows no signs of improvement. I suggest investing your time in other games,

Contest of elders is the most fun I've had in a while. I was still burned out on onslaught from into the light so didn't get into that much and the new activity has decent ad density so you're not fighting team mates and the difficulty is high enough to be engaging but low enough to be able to use a variety of builds and carry blueberries. Loot could be better though.

Don't even bother. I say this because I for one actually respect your time. Flashy stuff, like someone mentioned earlier with little to no substance. PVP is dead has been dead for ages, things you paid for are still vaulted, PVE is a hot mess, I for once have never met a company with the amount of money the game makes each year scamming it's players and employee; be so stuck in the past. Don't even get me started on the content creators who clickbait hard but can you blame them most of them have sold their soul to this franchise and them leaving means their income dies. The die hard folks who still play this game have Stockholm syndrome, because they have spent an ungodly amount of money into this game with very little in return; and any criticism in the forums here leads to a temporary ban or permanent ban.

So in grand scheme of things, no don't bother, save your money and time. Invest in other games, in yourself your friends, family etc.

I don't PvP but I played Iron Banner for the new rocket sidearm and to gild the iron lord title and had a good time.

Uninstalled back when they fired most of their online security team and announced they spent Sony's 2 billion in a little under 2 years with nothing to show for it other than one 'meh' DLC (Lightfall) and another very late one (TFS, which I didn't bother with). The actual weight I felt lift off of me when I uninstalled was a genuine shock and it took me a few months to get used to not playing D2.

It's still Destiny 2, if you didn't want to play it then, you likely won't like to play it now. That said, the best way to find out is try it again.
