I would have dozens weapons with deepsight harmonizer extract if i would bother to keep them but there's only a few drops of those per season. Ie keeping some machine gun drops or other non-primary ammo drop weapons mainly.
If we could spend bright dust on them it would be better, but as it is now, a lot of the guns is just never going to happen.
It's the same issue with some dungeons, can only get 1-2 drops per week on some of them.
All of which inevitably screws over new players trying to get the guns.
Which is by design, to make players stick around to suck at the grind.
Wasting time.

Light dust doesn't really help, to be honest I have over 15000 right now and don't know where to put it.
Silver, that would be a possibility, won't happen, Bungie doesn't earn anything.
Both only help you to activate something cosmetic, well, it can't hurt to improve the appearance or weapons for one or the other.
For my part, I can't do anything with most of what the Season Pass brings, weapons often don't fit my style, armor isn't really visually great anyway (luckily there are ornaments).
That's just the way it is, for some it's good and for others it's just not so good.
It's always been like that.
At least from my point of view, others may feel differently, but that's a good thing.

You mean the very limited ones you have to earn by playing the game? OP is literally asking for the option to pay to unlock perfect god rolls versions of weapons they've collected.

There should be a way to consistently earn them but eververse should be restricted to selling cosmetics or content access.

They should add alternative ways to get them besides the very few you receive from the season pass. Adding them in for silver/bright dust would be very appreciated and a way for bungie create extra funds.

Alternatively adding them in as a weekly reward from zur like the exotic cipher would be nice too. In general the game could use things like this in a limited way to help new or returning players

Your circumventing the point. Just can't help yourself, your too deep in. Just woke up and dived straight back in to the bottle didn't you.

It's IMPOSSIBLE for any players who didn't get all those harmonizers from the start to get all the guns unlocked that they could have if they got them from the start. There simply isn't enough of them. Buying the season passes over and over, doubles what you get.
Which means as a new player, you should have bought all previous season passes to get all the previous deepsight harmonizers. And it just doesn't make sense. But yet that's the case.
The only thing that does make sense is to remove those from season passes, and put them into the open economy of the game elsewhere.
So it isn't p2w in that area too.

it makes sense because everyone can gain them at the same rate, so you'll just have to play as long as they did. sure, there's no way to catch up, but it doesn't matter
