To any new people thinking about trying out the game, read this
They updated the strikes to make them more challenging but what they did is lazy and sucks and you probably won't enjoy it.

It's not that you won't beat the strikes, you will, it's just that they're now irritable all the way through.

This is the kind of stuff you'll have to put up with, and they last like half a day and rotate:

1. If you stop moving, you take damage.

2. Your shield and health don't recharge.

3. Ammo pickups are explosive traps.

Just find a better game. It's also anti-consumer. You'll buy a DLC and then it doesn't even come with the dungeons related to it. You have to then additionally buy the in-game silver to buy the dungeons, like what?

1. If you stop moving, you take damage.

That's because of the current damage modifier.

2. Your shield and health don't recharge.

Again, that's because of the current modifier.

3. Ammo pickups are explosive traps.

Once more, that's because of the modifier.

To avoid any confusion, make sure to check these before playing the activity.

I've already submitted a ticket for erasure of my data and uninstalled the game. I'd prefer to play a better game.

The strikes are really not enjoyable with those modifiers. It's not that they're hard, it's that they're just irritable throughout the strike and I would've preferred to just play the strikes normally, like every other player before they got added. I wanna play the way I wanna play, not being forced to keep my analog stick always in movement, that's annoying. It's not challenging, it's just annoying to have to do that.

Also, there's like 3 strikes where they have the same gimmick, what's that about? You ignite the circle and then collect the things and turn it into a ball to throw at the boss. How lazy of them to just copy and paste that into 3 bosses, what a joke!

The only one that irritates me is Haste, it's hard to change a weapon etc without stopping, or you get hit hard and use cover to heal and not heal because the cover is too small to move.

As a melee titan I don't notice the modifiers and forgot they were even a thing now.

Yeah, it's stupid. You can't take a moment to check some gear you just got, check a catalyst's progress and stuff, you can't even stand in/behind your ability which you're meant to in order for it to work. It just makes you sigh and roll your eyes at how stupid it actually is, and it makes the gameplay feel so trash. It's lazy game design.

I'm crying this dude actually uninstalled over playlist strikes, this is S tier award bait.

Oh GOD, I have to... press movement keys? And get kills? DEAR LORD! How sadistic can these devs get?
I actually enjoy the health non-movement reduction modifier. As a lower than average player, my general gameplay is to find a place where most enemies can't hit me and then attack...the modifier forces me to start moving around and modify my gameplay to compensate. Granted, I still end up almost dying as moving around normally gets me in trouble but it's still good

You are so cringe for reacting this way. You're acting like it's absurd for someone to uninstall the game if they don't like the strike modifiers. They're trash, mate, and the gameplay is trash because of them.
I mean yea it is kinda absurd to uninstall the game over a modifier that only appears for a week

You're right, I should keep playing a game which I think has bad gameplay because that wouldn't be absurd. Listen to yourself
1: move, you should always be moving in this game. if this modifier is messing you up then you're just sitting in the back not doing anything.

2: we have a hundred different ways to regenerate our health in this game, choose one.

3: they do like 10 damage.

are you jumping into the hardest content with subpar loadouts? You need to acquire better gear for harder content, much like any other game.
i forgot to mention that the first modifier you mentioned is on a timer. you have to stand still for like 5 seconds.

You're talking about one part of only one part of the game; the strike playlist is not the only thing to do in the game. I find Hast to be mildly annoying, when it annoys me, I just don't do the strike playlist, right now we have Brawn. Brawn in the strike playlist is like the Nether but light, I don't have an issue with that.

The part I find odd is.
"I've already submitted a ticket for erasure of my data and uninstalled the game. I'd prefer to play a better game."

One would think, you're done with this, time to move on, so are you, (A) not really convinced you should move on and trying to be convinced to stay, or (B) trying to white knight and save us from ourselves. I only find it odd because I would not be here, if I decided a game was not for me, I would not need anyone to validate that, I would uninstall, get a refund if that was possible and move on, certainly would not be spending my time in that game's forum discussing why I left. But, hey, you do you.

Damn, this is made on purpose? I was assuming this is as I play an Arc build and get some “short circuit” in the armor or so.

So, devs have time to implement such useless things rather than focusing on bug fixing?
… such as permanent “reconnect to server issues, dead-lock situations in missions, bad guiding thru missions -provided description does not make any sense.

I know, right? How unrealistic for someone to uninstall a game and make a post about why! Who would click that green notification icon in Steam, see that it's about their post and take a moment to look and reply? It's so unrealistic.

Every time you do a strike now you have to put up with these match modifiers. I said on Bungie.net it's as stupid as forcing players to have skulls on in Halo 3 whenever they wanna just play the campaign.

As if anyone wants to be nagged at every time they stop in the game. They literally designed the game so you could go through the strikes with your health and shield recharging, stopping to hide behind cover, etc.

I just wanted to play the strikes like normal.
