Vault space is not changing in The Edge of Fate, but we do have additional Vault space and QOL features planned for Renegades later this year.

I'm so tired of people asking for more vault space. We do not need more vault space, we need an inventory management rework, adding 100 spaces once a year is only slapping a new bandaid on once in a while and helps nothing. Make exotic class items, Egro Sum, and other future randomly rolled exotics craftable, BRING BACK CRAFTABLE WEAPONS, allow us to store a personal god roll in collections those 3 things would eliminate the need for additional vault space. The only reason I bother to keep 67-68 exotic armor rolls in my vault is because the collections roll if I want to randomly use an exotic is 48 with a terrible distribution and now I have to start keeping rolls of new seasonal weapons because they took away the crafting option.

TLDR inventory management solutions >>>>>>>> extra space

For me vault space is fine. My issue with it is that there's no sorting system, no way of changing the sorting order. It gets frustrating if you need to use a specific type of weapon for something and need to scroll through pages of wepaons trying to find one you want to use

First of all its sorted by default into kinetic slot, energy slot, heavy slot, head, armor, chest, leg, boot, class item, and various inventory stuff.

Second within those categories its loosely based on the item's release date newer stuff will *usually* appear towards the end.

Third you can change sorting on the LEFT side of the vault screen, the options are still terrible and I use default but there are sorting options.

Forth... use DIM inside the steam overlay, log into it through steam automatically (no need for extra accounts) and leave it open in the overlay and always have it ready with tons of inventory management features.

i never hoard god rolls etc. i need vault space. issue never was rolls or stats, people never hoarding for "usage" purposes ONLY, issue is this game been around more than 10 years at this point, people want to hold on to their earned gear. i will not be deleting my ikelos smg that has 10k elimination count that reminds me good old grinding days i spent with my no longer alive friend, and borealis holds different story that i managed to solo The Whisper encounter after HOURS of trying while drunk middle of the night. making it craftable does not fix the issue of needing place to save "memories".

yes loot shouldn't be tied to RNG AFTER you earn them, crafting fixes that but it does NOT fix the issue of souvenir space. this game is called LOOTER SHOOTER, therefore i will keep my loots that i tie memories on them.

not the mention between 700 and 99999 vault space there is insignificant amount of "cost" for bungie, there is no reason to gate keep inventory space unless they want to monetize it, which currentlly they dont. so there is no walk arounds, no solutions other than making new accounts and playing there since bungie being tone deaf on this.

"we" don't need more vault space, pretty much equals to "we don't need to take more pictures", after taking single one, no people will take more photos if you don't want then don't do it.

you are not the person entitled to decide if "we" need or not, you might not, some might then stop going against OTHER people's issues.

It's not just germans that use the word addon...I somtimes use it and I'm far from being German. Iit is an addon as it adds on to the main game. It is also an expansion pack as it expands on the main game. It is also a DLC as it's downloadable content. Any of those 3 accurately describe the content

The 4th part is not available to me as I don't play via Steam (I know, why am I here then? :p). I probably didn't explain myself very well: I take a daily bounty of "kill x with an Arc weapon" from Banshee....I then need to go through my inventory looking for an Arc weapon to use and, as it's not readily seeable, you need to hover over each weapon to see what type it is. I would like an option to filter by class of weapon so it only shows Arc weapons

DIM is not tied to Steam.

Then play in borderless fullscreen and alt tab to your internet browser if use your phone if on console, DIM uses your bungie API which just asks for the platform log in so for example if you're in the Steam overlay it would basically automatically log in since the overlay is already using your steam account and never logs you out. If you're still on PC then you can also just run the Epic/Windows version of Destiny 2 through Steam and use the overlay that way.

in DIM you could put in "arc" into the search bar. :) Also I wouldn't have that problem because too much of my brain space is taken up by memorized destiny 2 weapons. :\
