You can ride a skimmer into the middle thing to get to a time gated area, it's nothing new to see if some has done the prophecy dungeon or Nine missions way back in the day.

Yes, this location used to be the equivalent of a “lighthouse” for trials of nine. You had to climb higher and higher on the platforms and at the very top jump into the well for the final reward. It's probably gonna be something similar now.

as Mez Koo said use a skimmer you can either time it right and slip into the small space with the skimmer or jump off shortly before you reach the pillar and jump into the small spaces
