Kind of killed the shock tbh like when they revealed Crow saving Osris in the Beyond Light reveal stream, imagine if we had no idea that was going to happen and we were genuinely shocked to see Crow. I stopped watching their reveals after that and it immediately paid off when I saw Zavala's defiant "No" for the first time in game and I later watched the trailer and they basically put that whole moment in the trailer.
TLDR: Bungie kills dramatic moments by having them in trailers/ads.
yes it was a perfect part of the story but after that bungie cauldn't keep the game up so it destroyed it with its own.
