What is this?

In hull breach I did find this piece than can be scanned but nothing happens. Is there a function for this or maybe in the future? Its in the same chamber in the labyrinth where the dogs that hard to kill and seems to have no purpose and disappears after a while spawn which should also be explained. https://youtu.be/4g9PAadhDgE

That was a scannable in the original Destiny, for a lore snippet. I'm not up to date with this season's content at all, so I'm not sure if it's a part of a secret or quest, but if it's not either of those, the scan option here could just be something from the original Destiny that's still there but serves no purpose.

(As for WHAT it is, Ghost believed that it could be a feeding tank for Hive Worms.)

IC thanks. I guess the same goes for those dead body's with swords sticking out of them that can be found all over the Nether that when you go over you can activate something?

Cabal tried to invade the Dreadnaught and those are the remains, it's world building also there is a quest to scan the bodies.

You mean there "was" a quest to scan them right?

No I mean there is, I don't know when but there was some random heresy quest objective to quest item from random drops or scanning the cabal bodies.

Are you sure tho? I did scan all the bodies and got no quest after or even to get them scanned to begin with. As far as I can tell there was nothing that I can tell was tied up for those.

Thanks for clearing it up. Now I do remember I did get something when I scanned them bodies but I was multitasking multiple quests and it didnt stick into my memory.
