"What If? Destiny x Halo Crossover – The Convergence War (Purely for Fun!)"
LET EVERYONE KNOW IT'S FAKE AND JUST FOR FUN: Destiny x Halo - The Convergence War

Hey everyone, I’ve been having some fun thinking about a Destiny x Halo crossover and how the two universes could collide in a truly epic way. Just to be clear, this is purely for fun and not an official crossover! But I thought it would be fun to share a what if scenario with all of you and see what you think.

Prologue: The Rift Opens

Deep within the Pale Heart of the Traveler, strange anomalies begin appearing—fractures in space-time that radiate unknown energy. At first, the Vanguard assumes it’s an aftereffect of the Witness’s destruction. But when a massive Covenant fleet emerges from one of these rifts, reality itself is called into question.

The Covenant, led by a powerful Prophet of Truth, believes they have found a Forerunner holy land—the Traveler itself. They declare war on humanity and its “blasphemous warriors” (the Guardians), seeking to claim the Great Machine for their gods.

Act I: A New Enemy in Sol

The Covenant begin their Great Crusade, invading Titan, Io, and Earth itself.

Guardians clash with Elites, Brutes, and Hunters, struggling to counter Covenant plasma weaponry and their devastating orbital glassing.

Osiris and the Hidden discover the rift's origin—a collapsed slipspace event near Neptune, linked to an ancient Forerunner artifact buried deep within the city of Neomuna.

As the war intensifies, the Guardians make a shocking discovery: Spartan John-117, the Master Chief, emerges from the rift, stranded in an unknown timeline. His presence confirms the worst—the rift is a portal between two realities, and more invaders could come through.

Act II: The True Enemy Revealed

As both Guardians and Spartans fight off the Covenant’s relentless attacks, the situation worsens. The Flood, a terrifying parasite long thought sealed away, emerges from deep space, drawn to the Traveler’s immense power.

The Flood begin corrupting Lightbearers, creating twisted, horrifying Paracausal monstrosities. Zavala, Cortana (a preserved AI from Chief’s universe), and Lord Saladin forge an emergency alliance with the UNSC and the last remaining Sangheili warriors who have broken away from the Covenant.

A joint strike force (Spartans and Guardians) launches an assault on a massive Covenant Dreadnought orbiting Saturn.

Deep within the ship, the Guardians discover an imprisoned Precursor, an ancient being tied to both the Forerunners and the origins of Darkness itself.

This entity reveals the truth: the Darkness and the Flood share a common ancestor—the Precursors, who once ruled the universe.

If the Flood takes control of the Traveler, it could mean the extinction of all life in both universes.

Act III: The Final Stand

With no other options, the Guardians, the Spartans, and the Arbiter’s Sangheili unite for one last battle—not just against the Covenant, but against the Flood and a reborn Precursor threat.

The Traveler itself becomes a battlefield, as infected Guardians turn against their own.

The last city of humanity (both UNSC and Last City refugees) is evacuated as Earth is threatened with total annihilation.

The Master Chief and the Guardian lead an assault into the Traveler’s core, where the Flood-infested Precursor prepares to seize the Light itself.

In the final, desperate battle, Chief wields a Light-infused Energy Sword, while the Guardian unlocks a new power—combining Spartan augmentations with the Light. Together, they banish the Precursor and the Flood, but at a terrible cost: the Traveler shatters, unleashing a cosmic shockwave that merges the two universes forever.

Epilogue: A New Age Begins

With the Traveler gone and both realities forever linked, a new age of warriors rises: Guardians now fight alongside Spartans, wielding both Forerunner and Paracausal technology. The UNSC and Vanguard form the Sol Accord, defending against remnants of the Covenant, Darkness, and an unknown force beyond the stars—a force even the Forerunners once feared.

As Zavala and Lord Hood plan for the future, the Master Chief and the Guardian stand together, gazing at a new, untamed frontier.

"We finish the fight."

Discussion Time!

So, what do you think? How would Spartans and Guardians work together? Which Halo elements would fit best in Destiny? Or maybe you have a cool crossover idea of your own? Let’s get the conversation going!

Again, just to reiterate—this is purely for fun, not real, just a wild idea! Can’t wait to hear what you all think!

TLDR, however, I am always impressed by people with imagination to come up with these things. I would never make a good story writer.

While it would be interesting if the trip universes collided, crossovers should stay limited to cosmetics and we already got a halo crossover with the 30th anniversary.
