Nightfall is being locked behind dlc.

Who's ide was this, I wanna play the game and as far as i know nightfall hasn't been locked before this. Why should i keep playing the game if I have to pay to play a previously free game mode in a free to play game. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb lol.

Certain strikes are locked behind DLC. When that strike is the Nightfall, you need the DLC.

Just pay. This game is not free to play, it's only that way for some aspects as a selling point/first experience to buy the game.

Yeah I forgot about that too. I haven't bought Witch Queen yet and I said to myself I can play nightfall for now until I buy WQ and play the raid and seasonal stuff. But no. So right now there is nothing to do for me.

I remember it has always been like this. You also couldn't play Scarlet Keep and Glassway if you didn't own Shadowkeep and Beyond Light respectively. It's very frustrating.

I'm not complaining about the dlc. I'm complaining that a core gamemode which is available any other time is locked behind dlc. Free to play is probably one of the biggest reason why people even play destiny to begin with.

Do you not have access to regular strikes?
Gambit?
Crucible?
Iron Banner?
Lost Sectors?

Nightfall isnt really a 'core' gamemode.
It is an additional gamemode if anything.

You have access to a plethora of free strikes while some strikes are behind DLC.
You can't have everything in a free to play game that sells DLC content that adds more areas.
