1) I) "Mercury, Io and Titan are in my care" This is probably false, Savatùn has no control over the black fleet, the likely responsable for the planet desappearing.
II) "The Witness returned Mars to your solar system" probably true considering the Witness commands the black fleet, this one is triky because Savatùn gave conflicting informations about this in the following interactions with the altar about being or not her to move it back.
III) "The power to move worlds will soon be yours" time will tell, I guess... gravity subclass? If I had to take a stand I would say this is true.
IV) "The taken king will rise again" 99.9% false, Oryx is truly and irreversibly dead.
2) I) "the pinamid blade is one kay to defeating the Witness" possibly?
II) "the Witness seaks the final shape, and the final shape... is nothing" sure, the Witness seaks the final shape and it could be an empty universe, but not necessarely.
III) "the last city is not the last city" a) there are other cities on the planet (unlikely), b) Humanity's final stand against extinction will be in another settlement we didn't build yet (possible), c) Humanity will survive this and rebuild in time (possible).
IV) "the Witness will build his army on Mars" ??
3) I) "Osiris is dead" false.
II) "savatùn is dead" true? tecnically she is dead now, yes, she could come back, but when you are waiting to be revived you are tecnically dead even if momentarely.
III) "the Witness birthed the darkness" if this was true the Witness is the Winnower, but he very likely isn't.
IV) "in the end your destiny lies beyoind this system" possible, either our final battle will take place outside the system or we will reclaim/lose our system and move on to visit more.
4) I) "The traveller will leave"
II) "The Traveller will fall" either I or II are true, and the other is false, if the Traveller is destroyed she will never leave our system, if she survives this at a certain point she will leave, the first speakres of the golden age already knew that the Traveller was destined to leave once her work with humanity was done.
III) "the traveller is not the only one of its kind" probably false.
IV) "the hive are not hte last to be chosen by the light" probably true, we have still the kell of kells propecy. Please note how Savatùn notes she had been chosen by the light (ghosts) and not by the Traveller.
Don't bother trusting any of it.
Picking this one out for time's sake; My Name is Byf suggested that it's less "Oryx will be resurrected" and more "The Taken King raid's going to somehow get shunted into D2 so some of the more whiny people will quit complaining about the DCV."
That last half is my editorializing, though. :P
I think this one is actually true: We know Sagira is gone, and somewhere along the way I got a lore entry that said (in a message to us/the vangaurd) that one of Caitl's troops found a corpse they identified as Osiris.
Yep. Byf's already got a 20-minute-ish video about those books specifically.
Don't take anything Byf has to say seriously unless you can verify it. Byf is known to sprout opinions and claim them as fact.
