Is the vendor at the end of VOTD with the red weapons, is it true that I can only buy one per account per week right?

Only the first weapon purchased that week on your account will be a red box.

Furthermore if you're new to raiding then you'll need to loot the hidden chests to get enough currency (afaik) to even buy the first one as its not free.

He wont need to due to each encounter dropping 5 spoils and with there 4 encounters he should have enough.
Tho he should still pick up the secret chests because loot.
But yea you have 1 per account for the week from the chest. Plus if you do the puzzle chest its another random red weapon per account for that week.

I'm sorry I figured the first of each week would've been obvious since raids are a weekly thing.

Ah I wasn't sure if the spoils were tied to the encounters or the chests, DSC chests gave spoils so I wasn't 100% sure.

Ah I wasn't sure if the spoils were tied to the encounters or the chests, DSC chests gave spoils so I wasn't 100% sure.

So how it works the pinnacle raid. In this case Vow of disciple after you complete it once on that character, every run after will give you 5 spoils per encounter everytime.

Every other raid which is non pinnacle. In this case thats: Last Wish, Garded Of Salvation ,Deep stone crypt and Vault of glass
first time you do it on a character for that week it will drop 3 spoils per encounter nothing else after you do it for the first time that week.


Secret chests in every raid do give spoils but only for the first time you pick em up on a character. 5 for Vow and 3 for every other raid IIRC
