awoken mementos

wtf do you do with these things? i've gotten 5 or 6 so far that have all been tossed because as far as i can see all it does is take up space in kinetic weapons.

"To get the Hunter’s Remembrance quest in Destiny 2, you need to speak to Petra Venj in the Dreaming City. You must own the Forsaken expansion to access this quest. Petra Venj will ask you to purify three Awoken mementos by hunting down three enemies. The quest may also be in The Tower under the Quest Archive Terminal. After speaking to Petra Venj, she will give you a Memento in the Kinetic slot. This will turn into Wish-Ender and must be in your inventory when turning in the quest. If there is not enough room, the Memento may be sent to the bank. You can then enter The Shattered Throne dungeon to complete the quest. You must defeat three powerful Taken foes and purify their Awoken momentos. This can be difficult to locate each enemy, but TriGs on YouTube created a fantastic video guide 1. Good luck!"

thanks for the explanation. my main point was i've received these awoken mementos 5 or 6 times with never any explanation of to do with them (typical of this game). i'll go back to her and check the 2 quests that she lists.

Tbh once I realized I could just use guides, this game became so much easier
There is a ton of stuff without much explanation but there is always a guide for everything

my problem is i suck as much at combat as i do at finding stuff : ( but i found the quest in exotics ; )

They need to rework this quest. quite broken with no direction. ppl should be able to complete the game without relying on youtube with all things said and done. questing is very rough on this game.
