IIRC, for seasonal activity, only the new exotic mission scales with co-op, bc it has access to "Legendary" difficulty.
*Legend* tier difficulty, however, afaik, doesn't scale with the # of players. Defiant Battlegrounds, Nightfalls and Lost Sectors use Legend/Master (and Grandmaster for NF). Bungie needs to make Legendary vs Legend very clear, lol.
Legendary difficulty as we know is also present for WQ and LF campaign missions (which also have an additional "Master" difficulty that's accessed differently in the endgame and whose missions change daily).
If you're having troubles with co-op scaling, chances are it's campaign and the exotic missions. It was known for the first half of this season that Bungie scaled up enemy health too far and that in turned got exacerbated by co-op scaling. However, a week or two ago or more they cut down enemy health totals across the board and are slowly rolling out raw damage buffs to classes of weapons.
Bungie nerfed resilience hence why you're taking more.
