Why people doesnt use orbs
i realy dont get it. it takes litterly 1 mod to install and after that you litterly ♥♥♥♥ orbs. They are so usefull you can use charged with light builds, for void sub class you can activate your life steal skill (Forget its name) and each time you pick an orb it decreases every skill's cooldown.

But for the last week i did over a 20-25 dungeon with random people, and this morning i finished 21 strike for excotic cyper all with random people. While i generate avarage 30-40 orb per game i allways saw other players do around 3 to 6 which this is because of their supers.

So can somebody explain to me how people can ignore such a usefull source ?

Well, to get the orbs requires a multi-kill of sorts. Like master work is 2 enemies. So if you generated to 30-40 orbs, you killed 60-80 enemies. Which doesn't mean you actually killed that many, it's just how many you multi killed. In short, there are only so many enemies in the strike/nightfall. If you generate all the orbs, it means you're getting the last hits/final blows. Where as the others, are not, etc.

- "Always on" mods are often preferable, but can be expensive.
- Elemental Well mods can be preferable for PvE, but can be expensive.
- Harmonic locks up your weapon kit / not ideal for equipment locked content
- If you want other than Harmonic, your Helmet must match the element of your Subclass, not really new player friendly, id rather use my fully upgraded helmet vs just some random that has the correct element.

For base level content, i think players are often too lazy to change their kit. I definitely dont change my stuff for 1350 Strikes, maybe throw in my matching elemental resist armor, but thats it.

Probably other reasons, these are the ones I can think of quickly.

What about dungeons man i saw people kill over 100's of enemys but i rarely see anyone created more then 10 orb it just doesnt explain

Mod slots and energy taken up by more important things, take it up with Bungie's decision to nerf orb generation.

Im also using well mods but i also have orb mods for devour and faster skill recharge rate. It works better together. But still i couldn't realy add a charged with light mods.

Like what im also using well mods heck i have 5 well mods installed all my 5 piece thats no excuse unless you are only playing pvp. But for pve after well mods most important mods are orbs of power mods or am i missing something huge here.

I always have an orb mod on, regardless. OP is right, they're fantastic, and it doesn't force me to sacrifice anything else in my build - I can fit it into any build.

People should try and fit one orb mod into their loadout, because the rate of super regen is not insignificant - not to mention it can boost anyone on your team using a Charged with Light build.

It honestly depends on the subclass I'm running tbf or if there is literally nothing else worth using instead ie dont need the finder mods etc. For example, if I'm a void lock and running a grenade heavy build, i'm using double ashes to assets to get super energy back instead.

Also do they stack or is it one mod does the job and tossing other orb mods of the same thing doesn’t do jack.
They stack, the orb they produce is stronger - but for Charged with Light it gives no benefits. The orb merely gives more Super energy.

Simply because 3 energy for the orb mods, except the kinetic one, is just to expensive, imo.
And now with every subclass being 3.0, there are other ways to create orbs.

Matching subclass orbs is only 1 Energy.

My personal build is "osomosis" kinnetic weapon + "harmonic syphon" it takes 1 energy and im able to make tons of orbs of power

There is also "absolution" mod witch it reduces all ability cooldowns it takes 3 energy and can be stacked, if you think this is to much there is also a spesific ones that takes only 1 energy.

There is also regeneration mods thats also takes only 1 energy slot.

This mods arent taking to much at all what can you chose over them in pve i just dont get it how can hollester and scavenger mods be better then this verry usefull mods.

I usually do use a Kinetic orb mod. But ... there are too many mods and not enough mod slots (or energy to run them all).

I think the mechanic is "over-subscribed" so to speak.

There's a lot of potential variety, but I also feel forced to carry a mod to increase ammo drops for whatever Power weapon I'm using.

I personaly dont use kinnetic ones. 3 energy for each its a waste even for me.Use harmonic syphon instead you can also pair with and osomosis kinetic
