Why is beyond light's rating so low?

Specially the deluxe edition. Isn't Stasis only available to you if you own beyond light? And its the strongest among the subclasses for every class, correct?

Also had a question, what do you get with the deluxe edition thats worth it? Only the two exotics that you didn't get from past 2 seasons?

got review bombed on launch due to sunsetting of half the content in the game.
if u can get past that tho, it's alright.

That's because everybody in a rage post manner decided to spam negative reviews, not on part of the campaign being bad, but rather because of sunsetting and stasis. If you would give those people a 2nd chance to review it at this point, it would be just below forsaken.

Old content got sunsetted, A lot of people disliked it, and review bombed Beyond Light in a reactionary move. It doesn't actually have much direct reflection on BL itself.

Check the individual reviews, make sure you're reading ones that actually review the content.

It's a pretty lackluster expansion. Very light on content and what's there is pretty average. The most skilled Bungie staff is clearly working on another game.

People complained that they removed old content that was completely irrelevant
imagine complaining about curse of osiris and warmind being removed
Also sunsetting which is a absolutely bad idea and everyone knew it would suck im glad thats gone

I have to agree with you those expansions were just bad. But some players since launch bought The red war, curse of osiris and warmind. They cant just remove them and then rereleash them in the future for 60$.

And where did you get the idea that they are going to resell them?

I just have that feeling. I mean they are reselling destiny 1 stuff. Why wouldnt they resell deleted destiny 2 content. Destiny 2 was supposed to happen as a *new start* for our guardians and thats the reason why many weapons and I suppose abillities are missing. But Bungie keeps adding more destiny 1 stuff feuturing them as *new*.

The moon map is free but its activities are not, all strikes from D1 are free.

OP, those negative reviews exist, and continue since the launch of Beyond Light. You can see this by activating "Recent" in the review-menu of the store-page.

There's no stop of it... Because there are many reasons.
