yeah its still running fine with other things. still getting 120-144 in OW2
Could also be as simple as being time to clean out your pc or maybe you picked up a crypto miner some where, is everything else the same such as power usage or cpu/gpu temperatures or does it seem to be working harder now and less efficiently.
Recently I ran into a problem overnight where the computer fans were going full speed for no apparent reason and I opened it up and literally everything was covered in soot (don't ask, nothing bad happened) and I blew it all out with an air compressor and it was as good as new.
I remember installing nvidia geforce experience for the first time and letting it optimise my games. When I launched destiny, fps was a lot lower. I didn't realise at the time GE had enabled dsr in the nvidia control panel and set my in game resolution from 2560 x 1440p (native) to 4k resulting in a major hit to performance.
