Sales figures like this are nothing special with COVID-19 still around. The whole industry leveled up because of the pandemic.

You say that like Outriders and Borderlands aren't linear single player games with an end, having optional co-op doesn't make them live service games like Anthem, Division, or Destiny. But to be fair it did have millions of players playing when it was relevant its also getting an expansion this year so its clearly not dead along with Borderlands releasing a new game next month so again that's not dead.

Not enough for what? Bungie's laid out plans for the next 2-3 years of content, and Sony just bought Bungie for over three and a half billion dollars. I don't think either of those are things that happen to a game with "not enough" players.

There is one problem here,you cant say D2 is same like B3 and Outriders coz they have start middle and end (Like Diablo).Anthem and Division correct.The only game that rivals D2 is Warframe and Warframe going strong for years with minimal blunders and community outrages.So its not correct to say "Destiny is the most succesful Looter Shooter with live support currently on the market".

And yet D2 is still the most succesful looter shooter on the market lol, say whatever you want about Warframe but the game has been bleeding out players for years because of the lack of meaningful content, lift a rock and you'll find 3000 Warframe players that stopped playing, lift 100 rocks and you'll find 300k Warframe players that stopped playing because the game has no endgame and they hate the moderation that the game has among many things

Every point you said right now players are saying about D2 for years and D2 have wonky "End Game" too.And for gods sake where did you find that WF lost 300k players,do you know how much is 300k players?My point is that WF and D2 are great games but we cant compare them to games that have co-op and loot in them as Live service games.

Meh people complain about both games equally all the time either way, point was unlike D2 sadly Warframe even less DE hasn't grown for the last 4 years, DE is not even 1/3 of what Bungie is and probably don't even have 1/4 of the budget that Bungie has, meaning that they can take less risks, there is no game that can rival Destiny realistically, so the quote "Destiny is the most succesful Looter Shooter with live support currently on the market" is still true though
