Forsaken pack or Shadowkeep.
My brother is currently a f2p player. He doesnt have any dlc at all. We can afford to get him 1 (ONE) dlc out of Shadowkeep or the forsaken pack since they are the only ones on sale atm. He has played the forsaken campaign and we know that it is going away, but still, would you guys recommend the forsaken pack over shadowkeep or vice versa? the forsaken exotics are good, and so is last wish. Shadowkeep was kinda meh, even with the campaign. Thoughts on which to get for him?

Well forsaken as a dlc has much more and better content than shadowkeep does. Tbh if I were you I would save your money until you have 40 for the witch queen and play that when it comes out. Basically all the stuff you do now with shadowkeep or forsaken will be useless especially when the next dlc comes out in less than a month. If you are just looking to play the game with each other and enjoy it for a bit with no real goal to play after witch queen comes out then I would buy Forsaken.

Don't get either, wait for a legacy collection sale but if you "need" to buy one now then get shadowkeep as the forsaken campaign is already free and shadowkeep will get more "value" assuming he will want to do everything that it has to offer in addition to just "the story." But realistically I'd say wait for Witch Queen as Shadowkeep and Beyond Light pretty much go together in terms of "The Darkness" story arc.

The Forsaken campaign stopped dropping exotics about a year ago. I had to buy Ace of Spades even though I owned the DLC. But it's free to play right now. Shawdowkeep is boring, because it's mostly busy work. On the other hand, it 's a good way for a new player to get their feet wet. If you wait to buy Witch Queen you'd need to buy two copies, wouldn't you?

Ace of Spades didn't come from the campaign.

Not directly but it did require campaign completion to get the quest.

And the campaign can be completed now, but Titan is not available.

Don't buy either of them. Sorry to be a mood killer but they are removing Forsaken next month forever and Shadowkeep was one of their worst dlcs. Save up for Witchqueen if you wanna buy one.

Not true, the Forsaken campaign, Tangled Shore map and two strikes are being removed, the rest is staying.

Its still a part of the game with the pyramid reveal and "meeting" the darkness.

I guess a lot of people hate on Shadowkeep, I found it rather immersive and enjoyed it. That first trip into the ship, "hold on, what?" the next character I expected it but it caught me off guard.
