why the guardian never talks?

Just a design decision, I guess. The guardian does talk in a few cutscenes, but not much.

he does. he did more in d1 but has started to talk again since forsaken. play shadowkeep and maybe the game in general and then post ♥♥♥♥ like this

That was always a terrible excuse considering how much ghost puts words into our mouth killing said identification and immersion excuse. It'd be fine if ghost just relayed info to us or explain things but its just turned into a mouthpiece and reason to only have 1 voice actor for 6 characters.
