Ive bought plenty of games on steam, sure you guys have also, it knows what you own and does the math accordingly. The math on this isnt being done correctly with the other parts i own.
Maybe im not as good at math as when I was a kid who knows. Its only a few bucks but the second the math seems fishy, Im out and lose trust in the system.
And i didnt even know the dungeon keys things missing thanks for pointing that out. Ill just skip all this and buy the final shape when its 85% off if i even want it then.
The store page clearly says the dungeon keys for Witch Queen and Lightfall are not included. Also, not all bundles on Steam discount for content in it that you already have. the publisher decides that.
This is correct. There are types of Bundle available on Steam.
The first is simply just a collection of individual packages bundled together so you don't have to add multiple items to your cart. This is particularly convenient during big sales as Steam has a limit in the number of licenses you can activate per hour. This is the only type of bundle Bungie has ever used for Destiny content on Steam.
The second is "Complete the Set” bundles, these are the kind that OP is refering to that discount the price based on what you already own. These can only be purchased for your own account and can't be gifted, in some regions it can also become impossible to buy them (especially during sales) as Steam has a minimum price for certain items/bundles.
The final type is "Purchase Together". These are most often used for Introductory bundles or entire franchises but can only be purchased if your account currently owns none of the included content.
