Warlock is if you want to abuse broken movement speed via Icarus Dash
Imo you should make both and experiment with the different builds. Titans and Warlocks have some absurdly good loadouts.
Like seriously 0 penalty for aping, especially with the state of Dunemarchers and Felwinters Lie
But hey main what you like thats really what matters the most
.. but I never enjoyed the stormcaller, and I couldn't get used to the dawnblades super ability. I tried using it just yesterday in pvp. If I throw my fireblades all over the place I have a hard time spotting enemies that are right next to me, and if they are far away I tend to miss them.. a lot. So void was the only reliable option for me, always.
Then I played a Titan and I found good use for all three of their specs. But fighting against bullet sponges felt a bit tedious to me.
And so I tried a hunter, years later. You know what? I found that it had a gread spec for literally every situation. Some are great for pvp, some are great for pve. So for me it took like hundrets of hours to find the hunter class.. I'm still not sure if I'd rather play something else here and there, but.. you can always mix things up a little by just playing another character for a while. It keeps the game fresh.
In the end you should just check out all the specs, their movement abilities, their grenades and their supers.. and see which suits you best and which has the most different options for you. If there is one class that has just one spec you like, then it's probably a bad choice. The best choice is the class that makes fun with all it's specs, because it makes you play and progress with this class instead of switching characters on a daily basis.
So many things can determine my advice here but i'll try and sum up the benefits for both modes.
Titans in PvE are usually add clear for 90% of the game then become more of a support at the very end of end game. In PvP they are pretty strong, good roaming supers, good exotics and good sub classes that can cheese the ♥♥♥♥ out of casual lobbies.
Warlocks in PvE are almost always needed, Well of radiance is the best super in the game for high end PvE content, Warlocks also have probably the best solo build in the game too ( Devour, im sure you can find it on youtube, would get a better more in depth explanation). PvP Warlocks are also pretty strong, Icarus dash grants pretty crazy movement and the roaming supers are pretty good also. Can get creative with niche builds with them too.
My brief 2 cents anyway, can answer any other questions if you have any however.
