How is that asking for a lot? And no, I don't want them to full on go back to the old system. Red borders made all drops that weren't not as valued and nobody used them, granted that was pretty much because non-crafted craftables couldn't even be enhanced for some reason, so if you wanted enhanced perks you were forced to eventually craft.
Red borders dropped WAY too often, which lead to the weekly get your red border every week trend. But I do think that seasonal/fomo weapons should be craftable. If an activity is going away at any point then it should be craftable, especially if they are mid-af like a majority of this season's weapons. Like loose Change Jolting feedback on the smg, that's all you got? I'm not saying it's bad... but... If you're chasing only one roll and it never drops and that drop isn't even all that great unlike Dungeon/raid weapons then why bother?
If you have the first copy of Tinashas, extra copies are 1 engram and 25K glimmer. With emblem, 5 gear pieces, and the weekly challenge boosts, you're getting that and more each match. Some games can give 3 engrams, which means 3 copies of Tinasha's. Is that not reasonable? Getting a the main perks you want should only take a few hours if that, but sure, if you want the perfect 5/5 it'll take a while, but thing is, Chill Clip is the only perk that really matters.
Tinasha's costs 1 engram per roll. You have a 1/7 chance to get CC. I'd say that's pretty reasonable.
You can focus the engrams though??? I don't even consider the little match drops, the main thing is getting engrams to focus, and with the max rank multiplier you can get them FAST. And if you *really* want AT/CC for that ever so slightly better ammo economy, it'd be a 1/49, or just over 2% chance drop, just a tad better than your odds for every single NF and raid weapon from the past several years.
D2's RNG isn't even that bad, it's just that players needlessly search for a certain version that is marginally better than what they have already.
The only reason to use Air Trigger is for boosted reserves. The reload benefits are weaker than any of the other options in that column. The sole benefit is offsetting the nerf.
