Destiny was never casual/user-friendly.
Yes they actually did several of the timeline missions because there's a minimum requirement before jumping into vanguard strikes now. I thought it might be LL but it boosted that for us also, and the 3rd guy pug was also getting bodied constantly. After the 20th or so death from constant spam it was so un-fun she wanted to stop and gladly agreed.
edit: to be fair the one thing we had not done yet was go get our artifacts. If they make that much of a difference for normal strikes now that's nuts. I don't remember them being useful for much besides nightfall/gms.
Is that throughout the entire campaign?
So as usual, this isn't made clear in game, they just expect you to read stuff or know already.
Thanks.
Bad game design is when the enemy shoots at me and I die
It's made clear because the enemies glow with the EXACT same color scheme as the prismatic subclass. Shooting enemy shields with the same color as a given ability has been in the game since its inception. Not to mention, when playing the first mission, IT DOES TELL YOU. THERE IS A POP-UP THAT EXPLAINS TRANSCENDENCE.
they expect you to be capable of basic problem solving. they can't make ♥♥♥♥ any more obvious
Wait on pad for 15 seconds. That was the extent of my problem solving. The rest expects you to read stuff beforehand. If you don't, or forget or don't understand the concept in the first place, you tend to ask these questions.
