Xur currency change sucks....

I have been playing Destiny 2 since beta over on Battle.net which was also the only time this game had proper Anti Alaising, but I have always been able to purchase anything I wanted from Xur since we got the currency from EVERYTHING.
Now with the change to strange coins I am finding no way to buy anything outside of doing content that I have zero interest in. I have ran strikes, dungeons and seasonal content but the only strange coins I have are ones I had from before the expansion and have yet to get any more from anything else.

With the buff from Xur you can get 50+ coins from a single Onslaught run.

I have looked each week thru Xur's inventory and there has only ever been one thing on there that I had access to (in the final shape) which was an engram that was turned in 1:1 for crap blue items, so not sure what you are talking about. If you would care to elaborate rather than insult me.....

So you are being willfully ignorant it's really easy to get capped on coins and Xur does sell you a buff. But since you are too busy being a toxic ignoramus on here it's really on you for having this problem. Xur's loot sucked before the change and you can get strange coins faster than you get legendary shards end of story. Maybe you just need a break from the game if you let it affect you mentally this way, to the point of being irrational to people trying to help you understand how to get coins easy.

Go the the third page of Xur when he is around on weekends, there is a buff that you can get that upon buying 47 coins worth of stuff you get a buff that lasts nine days

Oh yeah, if you get it three weeks in a row, it stacks, AND refreshes the buff

So, go into the vanguard playlist (and not the individual strikes on the map) and have a blast

I literally just did one strike and got some strange coins, so again, you're either willfully doing it wrong to complain, or you're seriously not reading what we have to say to you, which in both cases, is a You problem

Spend enough strange coins and you can buy Xur's favor or something that gives increase strange coin drops. You can buy it each week for a stacking increased strange coin drop.

Thank you for actually explaining that, I did not know about that buff probably because I only had 4 strange coins from the previous expansion running Dares and it was far from what 47? required for that buff so I must have just glazed over it since I couldn't "afford" it. This still doesn't help with getting that initial 47 though but again, thanks.

I have ran ritual playlist stuff since final shape and got no coins, I advanced the Pathfinder in the Vanguard tab on the map a couple of times but have yet to complete it due to requiring Crucible matches, so I don't know what's going on.

I DID do some of that content and did NOT get any coins so yea I'm complaining about it.
