And also I'm already bored of Fallen and Hive in this. granted all of this takes place on earth and that's the majority of what's on earth. Maybe if they had a few stages based on Neomuna.
The only decent one is the decoy when fully leveled up, tormentors going after decoys gives a lot of value.
or if its not fully leveld up and you get unlucky having a tormenter in wave 2.. you can bait it away so it follows you and deal with it yourself was the other team mates take out the adds.
Teammates not making kills from a warlock well, again, robbing a teammate of energy that could quickly create another.
People without any champion mods/weapons.
People that immediately always rush to secondary objectives even when covered by the other two, leaving the ADU unguarded.
People that grab other player strand tangles, largely preventing the creator the items they specifically generated the build for.
People that have zero concept of locking down a lane, instead, would rather flit around the map thinking their the only one on the playing field and accomplishing nothing.
Also people taking my tangles when they don't have a tangle based aspect, it's just shooting warmind cells without global reach again.
Just AAA game quality right there
OK, now you've done it, you just had to make me feel stupid, sigh. LOL
I didn't know you could heal them, derp?
Thanks for the education. I will do better.
not enough enemy variety
too many breaks in the combat (remove wave 5 portal)
modifiers should rotate daily
Also, as we saw in the Into the Light streams, apparently the attacking enemy race is meant to change every 10 waves (i.e. fight Fallen for 10 waves, kill the boss, attacking race switches to Hive, etc). Why wasn't that included in Onslaught when it was released? Beats me. It would certainly keep things fresh.
So yeah, Bungie would do well to throw in the other Forces of the Witness, rather than simply have us fight A Force of the Witness. Throw 'em in with new augments, too.
Augment Examples:
Thresher
Goliath Tank
Destroy Confluxes
Destroy Hive Crystals
Interceptors
Fallen Walker
As for maps, Midtown seemingly is the better choice compared to Vostok and Mothyards. Midtown flows enemies through choke points very well, as well as into Tethers. I'm not sure what changes Bungie could make to the lesser used maps to make them worth running compared to Midtown.
I feel we should see all of our Coalition allies take part in defending the Last City, for instance:
Allow us to summon reinforcements, like Redjacks, Caiati's troops, or maybe even Spider's Associates from Plunder.
There's many ways to give this mode more variety, and yet Bungie hasn't done anything other than update the loot incentive.
Cabal and Vex will probably be added later when this Witness stuff and Into The Light is over. Right now Onslaught is specifically about fighting The witnesses forces, and those forces are not counted among his Soldiers. They could use the Shadow Legion for Cabal but I am not sure if they are still following The Witness anymore. The version we have now is probably a test-run which will be refined in a later iteration.
