But as for Hunter you will want triple jump equipped and if after that you still are struggling try equipping the ST0MP-EE5 exotic boots to give you a bit of a boost.
Jumping in Destiny 2 just takes a lot of practice mostly because each class having a radically different jump mechanic such a hunters being a classic double/triple jump, titans having a jet pack, and warlocks having a momentum based float but even within the same class there are different jumping options.
Luckily I mained warlock for the first 6 months so I learned the hard way to use and control warlock's burst glide and it stuck even after all these years of being a titan main.
As for jumps, I'm using burst glide most of the time, it's the most intentional jump type. Meaning if I intend to jump up, it's one timing, if I intend to jump long, it's another. I only switch to blink when feeling especially daring, or playing Arc hunter.
With the spire of the watcher, the only thing I've struggled with was soloing Persys.
