because of the terrible connection issues at launch i was not able to particiapte in the Witness event but am now involved in the echo episodes and the story seems disjointed

did you need to have Final Shape for the intro ?

you mean excission? if you enter the excission tab you should be able to switch to the story point

If you're talking about the 12 person activity its all the way to the east side of the pale heart destination map screen.

The excision misson can be reentered by moving all the way to the right on the pale heart map and there'll be a node to the right of the raid that will let you play it again. You can also select "narrative" where the difficulty selection would normally be to see all the cut scenes again.

If you completed it and got disconnected during the cutscenes then you won't get them again.

Youtube exists or you can play through on another character. There is nothing you "missed" between killing the Witness and the start of Echoes, we don't know what is going on other than something flew out of the Traveler and went to Nessus.

You can try to play through again for the cut scenes but iirc the final actual cutscenes won't play again but here it is:

They must have fixed it then because all I remember is post after post on the subreddit saying "give us the ability to rewatch the cutscenes" or "I'd pay to be able to see the final cutscenes again."

Bungie needs to stop forcing Players into intro missions from the login screen. Honestly the people working on Destiny 2 should actually play it at least once so they can understand what they are doing and how they impact the game and the players.

I think the intro mission for the start of Echoes is on the Nessus map, not sure. Whenever Bungie forced me to start a storyline from login, I would return to orbit and then restart it from the beginning by selecting the intro mission on the related Map.

An Epilogue option is now available in the difficulty selection menu for Excision where players can rewatch the Excision end cinematics without replaying the activity.

i can't locate it onnly the opening mission/ intro to the final shape.
