Episodes roadmap

So, did we get info on updating episodes and dates when they will be launched, as it’s been moved from Feb to June? It would be nice to post and let know community what to expect?

No, but the first episode will be launching with the Final Shape and each will last for about 4 months. We will get full details regarding episodes real soon as we get closer to the Final Shape release date.

First episode is launching the first reset after tfs launches.

So instead of having the current one + 3(of the current expansion) which bassically ment 4 'seasons' we will get 'three seasons' now.

We don't really know if the episode model will have more or less content then the seasonal model. Can't really compare the two until we have them in our hands.

Sounds like each episode will be 3 mini seasons and the 4 season system we've had has gotten so formulaic and boring as a "turn in next week on dragon ball z" that this "3 acts" change up could be good. I hope (but don't expect) each act to hit a different tone or at least feel varied enough from each other that it ends up feeling like 9 different mini seasons throughout the year rather than 2 months of "tune in next week" then a month of nothing four times.

Whats the difference between "Tune in in next week" currently vs 3 different 'acts' per episode cause right now youre gonna get content drips every 6 weeks?

This 'system' will do the ' tune in next week ' more rather then just releasing an episode fully.

You're gonna have the 'same' problem d1 year 1 has, etxept thje problem is limited cause theyr timegating content.

Episodes are supposed to be more consistent drops 6 weeks at a time instead of a drawn out 8 or 9 weeks so I imagine the story will be more cohesive. Obviously yes it will still be weekly but shouldn't be the current terrible system of log in, do the same activity to get the same maguffin and get some dialogue.

Thats not episodes. And thats not 'seasonal' either, cause thats been the case since the launch of D2.


Episodes are consist themself of 3 acts (each released 6 weeeks one after another)....

You arnt going to get episode 2 after 6 weeks.

Less then a week(5 days), and so far se don’t have any news about updated roadmap. When was the first one introduced(how long before was postponed)?
Did people who were testing game recently were able to ask developers that or missed it?
