Destiny 3

I was wondering is it worth coming back and grinding or is destiny 3 coming out soon. Are there any news on it?

There hasn't even been confirmation that there will be a Destiny 3, much less it coming out any time soon. I would argue the earliest it would come would be in a year when Final Shape has completed....so coming back and grinding would probably be worth it

Old Light, we are currently in Final Shape, end of Light-Darkness Saga. I don't think theres ever gonna be a D3 but we are in the Endgame of what we've been building for the last few years. So maybe if just for sentiment I'd say yeah

Destiny 3 IS NOT happening anytime soon, IF (huge if) they announce it at the Summer Game Fest tomorrow (Friday) it would be 2026 at the earliest IF they've been secretly working on it.

If they release Destiny 3 would be around 2026 or 2027 at least. Enjoy what you have now. ;)

D2 will likely have a filler expansion to prepare for D3, so don't expect a new game soon.

They should just rename Destiny 2 to Destiny and keep updating the game, there's no need for Destiny 3. Same thing as Warframe, no need for Warframe 2 they just update the game and upgrade the engine with each expansions.

Bruh new campaign was prob the best they ever done and the amount of post campaign content makes lightfall look like a sidequest. I wanna know exactly beside the obvious server issues you have with the new DLC?

Oh, absolutely. Great expansion, story campaign is everything I wanted. I just don't like the overall state of the game. Seasons are a terrible way to serve content and tell a story, sunseting was their worst decision ever, they keep removing content that players paid money for, and dungeon keys are their second worst decision. I want the game to be more of a game and less of a service. I want a game that I can safely call a friend into without feeling like a traitor, and for a friend to not have to watch a 10 hour lore video to understand the game.

There won't be another Destiny. Final shape is it. Bungie is working on a NEW IP and if you think this is still bungie. you need a wake up call. Bungie of OLD is gone. Original Founders left and i think formed a new company years ago. What company that is CALLED, I have NO idea. They all left when Halo was sold to MS.

I don't think we'll see a new installment of the game for the next 5-6 years. Because D2 brings normal earnings and if it didn't, the developers wouldn't release such expensive add-ons.
